“I was in the kitchen since I was a child. At around 15 years old I told my family that this is what I want to do”. And just like that, Alexandra’s cooking journey began.
Today, she is the owner of Alex The Fresh Pasta Bar! “After I finished school, I went to London to study cooking at the French cooking school Le Corson Bleu where I realized that this is actually what I want to do”.
After her studies, Alexandra worked at a very demanding British restaurant and managed to become Star of the Month. She returned to Greece more experienced and with the desire to open her own restaurant. She shared her idea of a pasta only restaurant with her father who trusted her idea and helped realize it. “My father asked me to prepare a business plan and soon enough he understood that this was something that could be successful”. Our organization had that same faith in her work.
“The People’s Trust offered me the financial support with which I bought the equipment for my restaurant. But apart from that, for me, a young girl who simply had an idea, the fact that someone outside my family, believed in my idea was the most important thing of all”.
Now Alexandra can prepare her delicious dishes made of fresh, handmade pasta. We are very excited we support a young entrepreneur with goals, potential and great cooking skills!
